Today the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO endorsed Initiative 502, which would legalize, tax, and regulate marijuana, at its annual COPE (Committee on Political Education) Convention. The WSLC is a voluntary organization representing more than 600 local unions and approximately 400,000 workers throughout Washington. I-502 was certified to the November 6 general election ballot in January.
