Spokane leaders endorse marijuana legalization initiative

SPOKANE—A group of political and religious leaders in Spokane announced Tuesday that they were endorsing Initiative 502, which would legalize, tax and regulate marijuana in Washington.

Among those endorsing the initiative are State Senate Majority Leader Lissa Brown, Spokane City Council President Ben Stuckart and New Hope Baptist Church pastor Happy Watkins.
