Pot legalization isn't the crazy, fringe idea it used to be. Anyone with a pulse can sense that. And the traction being gained by Washington's I-502 only backs it up. Now a recent nationwide poll does too.
Rasmussen Reports conducted a telephone survey on May 12 of 1,000 "Likely Voters" across the country. According to results of the survey (which carries a sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points) 56 percent of respondents favor legalizing and regulating pot much like the way alcohol and tobacco are currently regulated. Only 36 percent of respondents opposed such legalization and regulation.
